Proposed Collaborative Project With Traditional Healthcare
In early 2010 Big Heart Project made a partnership with Traditional Healthcare. Traditional Healthcare is an Australian based not-for-profit charitable organization committed to the development of sustainable health facilities for under privileged communities’.
Naturally, being engaged in aid work these two organizations share a common interest, but beyond this general goal we also share similar concepts in our ideas about creating sustainable solutions. Both the workers for Big Heart project and those for Traditional are working with the principles of Permaculture.
Currently Traditional Healthcare are working in Datom, Jharkand India. Construction has begun on a Health clinic and other which will offer acupuncture and other traditional treatment.
Big Heart Project plan to help develop the aspect of Permaculture, within the community of Datom, as well as provide a learning environment based on the methods and ethical principals identified, matured and tested in other projects.
